Western Bog Laurel,
Kalmia microphylla occidentalis.
This is a small, slender branched evergreen shrub growing to 18 inches tall. Leaves are narrow lance shaped, margins rolled over, dark green. The flowers are, rose pink and saucer-shaped and in loose terminal clusters. Their habitat includes bogs and wet mountain meadows. |
